New Creations In Christ

Corinthians chapter 5 vs 17 Tells us we are new creations in christ.   As a trained investigator I had to open my mind to the carnal nature of people I never paid attention to before I decided to learn the discipline of an investigator. It was painfull and shocking some of the dark ways of people I never paid attention to or wanted to know about before I disciplined myself to observe behavior. As a catholic I became very aware of the difference between me and the world . I believed in christ my whole life from a child to adult. So the carnality of living was usually something I just gross out about or not pay much mind to. I wasnt confirmed catholic until I was 22 years old.  In the army I was drilled like a machine in the military and joined up with the some of the best and many of the worst of society to do violent work. When I was discharged I went to Hollywood wierdest carnal place in the world for all I can reason. I had spells when I would almost black out like a machine with no senses thinking about being a kill trained robot or something. It was then when I realized how much life God gave me . This is when I realized I was a new creation in christ. Because the Holy Spirit would fill me back up with life and I would be racing with joy moments after a spell. It was scary I actually would fear I couldnt feel like a normal human again. Then I would realize no one around me had the same life in them they were like animals with no knowledge of christ. People were just flesh fulfilling all their fleshly desires without the kingdom of heaven in them. When I returned to visit my family. I felt alienated my family was as carnal as they could be and the new creation I had become many of family members had not become. I started to realize absolutely that God had made me into a new creation and the life I would of been because of my carnal birth was not really a life that would have been easy to bare. I thank God he called me so young in my life. Here is the scripture that tells us of our transformation and life free from sin and the unholy animal like nature without christs grace.

corinthians chapter 5 vs 13 to 21

If we have been unreasonable, it was for God; if reasonable, for you.

For the love of Christ overwhelms us when we consider that if one man died for all, then all have died;

his purpose in dying for all humanity was that those who live should live not any more for themselves, but for him who died and was raised to life.

From now onwards, then, we will not consider anyone by human standards: even if we were once familiar with Christ according to human standards, we do not know him in that way any longer.

So for anyone who is in Christ, there is a new creation: the old order is gone and a new being is there to see.

It is all God's work; he reconciled us to himself through Christ and he gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

I mean, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not holding anyone's faults against them, but entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

So we are ambassadors for Christ; it is as though God were urging you through us, and in the name of Christ we appeal to you to be reconciled to God.

For our sake he made the sinless one a victim for sin, so that in him we might become the uprightness of God.
