Formal clothing/garments

In the word of God it tells in Joel that we are to render our hearts to God not our Garments. Here is an example of the formal attire used in formal institutions that this is referring to. Clergy who wear robes and magistrates. Nuns and people such as muslim and Islam and Arabic, hindu, menonite, quaker, amish, budist monks, Freemason priests ect. Officers and thier uniforms are to the officials what signifies them as a righeous authority. Can you reason how wearing uniforms in the military as an officer of the law would cause you to render youre garments to God and not youre heart. Hypethetically meaning Johnny law puts on a uniform and like superman in his cape is a righeous crusader no matter how many adulterous affairs. No matter how much hate, no matter how faithless his heart. To the force of uniformed officers the uniform would be all that is required not faith in God and the Love for his righteousness. In the example of a clergy wearing robes it is very similar. They put on the robe but never the armor of God. The say prayers they were taught and perform sacrament rituals but they hypethetically would assume it is only about putting on the robe and not about rendering their heart to the Lord. The righteousness of the Lord isnt in their heart just a robe that symbolizes a righteous position and proffesion. Same goes for those who wear the head coverings and robes of the eastern cultures. Hypethetically they are in their hearts not really righteous and loving the Lord. They have in their hearts the hatred and perverse things which are not seen by our eyes but are looked upon by the Lord. I do not write this because everyone renders their garments to God and not their heart but just to explain an example of not rendering youre heart to God. So as to help discern and explain what not to do.

How about those immoral people of the law and business people in their formal business clothes. In their hearts they are not clothed as well to God and their proffessionalism is only an outward appearance. In their hearts they are decietfull and perverse. Using corrupt means to gain wealth. Full of greed and envy. Their work they do not do as unto the Lord but as unto the corporate masters of greed. How about the wealthy who buy fancy clothes and formal attire we cannot afford most of us. Yet in their hearts only cheap immoral values and no real Love for what is valued to God.

Joel chapter 2 vs 12 - 16
12 Now, therefore, says the Lord. Be converted to me with all your heart, in fasting, and in weeping, and mourning. 13 And rend your hearts, and not your garments and turn to the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, patient and rich in mercy, and ready to repent of the evil. 14 Who knows but he will return, and forgive, and leave a blessing behind him, sacrifice and libation to the Lord your God? 15 Blow the trumpet in Sion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly, 16 gather together the people, sanctify the church, assemble the ancients, gather together the little ones, and them that suck at the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth from his bed, and the bride out of her bridal chamber.

Man looks at the outward appearance but God judges the heart (1 Sam 16:7
