Faith is the essence of our communion with the Lord. By faith in Jesus Christ we have an eternal covenant with our Lord. We are all individuals physically to the Lord. Although we all are one in the same spirit of faith. several individuals in the bible proved to God they had faith and stood apart from the rest of the people of God and people of earth. Hebrews 11:1 tells us "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Each time we pray to God believe in Jesus Christ it is faith we pray to God and the answer to that prayer is faith. It was Noah's faith he was spared and chosen to be the father of abraham and all the descendants of earth. He was the only person God chose to live when he flooded the earth. Noah and his wife were individually singled out by God because of their faith. David became a king because of his faith not because of his inheritance of stature. Faith was how David was given that stature. It was Faith Solomon was so wise. Faith is how Jesus did his miracles. Faith is the substance of our spiritual walk in the Lord.
God has tested mans faith. He tests our relationship with him and measures us according to faith not our shoe size. To be great in the Lord you need to have faith that is great. Not a bank account or title . Faith is measured by God alone. Each prophet was faithfull to the Lord and the Lord spoke his divine words through them. Moses was chosen for his faith. Elijah was given a measure of the power of the Lord to work through him. The Lord gave daniel understanding that excelled above the masses of peoples who had no faith. Faith in the Lord can deliver us from all evils. Because Christ died on the cross for our sins. We have to die to our carnal life's and the only way to have an abundant life here is by faith in the living God and his son Jesus Christ.
In our own personal devotion to God we can master this life of faith by being faithfull to Jesus. I like to devote time to praying to God for secret things that I can test my own faith in. Like praying for understanding for something I desire to know. Praying for God to make a person on a job stop behaving so fowl or abusive. Praying for God to help me in my work. Praying for God to make my day more valuable to me. Praying for the Lord to teach me spiritual things that would teach me secrets about life in the spirit. I love to pray in tongues to let the spirit renew my mind and heart and lift my faith from the days gravity. If you seek the Lord and pray each day for The Lord to teach you faith . He will . Only God can teach you faith. Faith is the substance of things hope for. The substance tells me that it is measurable to the Lord. Not the way we weigh a bag of apples, but the way God measure love and compassion, the way he measures discipline and loyalty, humbleness , and generosity, the fruits of our spiritual life. I often desire to have faith enough to take off in a chariot( or car) like Elisha, Or to make things from thin air like jesus made our the clay to play with when he was a child. I pray for God to teach me faith that is Great. I havnt walked on water yet. However God answers my prayers all the time. Sometimes things I prayed for a year ago suddenly the Lord brings to rememberance and I lets me know he answered my prayer. Believe that its not a rival our faith is the same spirit but our faith is how we are able to individually reap the treasures of heaven. The things we sow by faith others may reap by faith . The things we reap by faith others have sown. We spread the gospels truth by faith. Everytime we let God guide us in the spirit and by faith in his word believe what the scriptures tell us overcoming the world and defeating the devil. We have used faith. Each time we make peace in our own little worlds it is by faith in Jesus Christ. Each time we excersize the gifts of the spirit. Each time we come together to worship the Lord it is our faith in God we worship him. The Lord is faithfull and true and will always be there for us when we seek him with all sincerety. We don't need guru's or magic shows from eastern religion miracle men. We don't need to know the quran or kabalah. All we have to do is believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah . The Son of the living God and that He is God incarnate who died for our sins. Then the Life of Faith we will learn from Jesus himself who is the high priest and teacher of us all. He pours out a portion of his spirit into us to teach us and guide us in the faith of Jesus Christ. Learn to trust the holy spirit and to die to the world so that only the Holy spirit is you're life and master. We have to stay earthly minded as well because we are still earthly bodies. However we are freed from our sins and have new skin , new lifes in the spirit. We dont have to be burdened in our souls by the sins of our carnal births. Faith is the life of miracles. So we should all partake and let God teach his miracle life to us.
1Corinthians 15:40 There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another
1Corinthians 15:38 But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.
1 corinthians 15:39
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
2corinthians 4:13Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak,(A)
Hebrews 11:6 (New King James Version)

Romans 3:28 (New King James Version)
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17: 20(NKJV)
Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health. Matthew 9: 22
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2: 17(NKJV)
