About swearing oaths

mathew chapter 5 vs 33 to 37 . This is about swearing an oath. We all are decieved by the many ceremonies and rituals to modern times. The oaths in the cubscouts for instance, The oaths in secret clubs and societies. The oaths which we say we need to be very carefull about. It is not forbid to swear an oath however in such cases as the defense of our country or as an officer of law to protect us. Swearing that oath makes breaking that oath a more serious offense. Doesnt the government using that oath become a heretic or hypocrite guilty of blaspheming Gods sacred throne. They become not guilty of trespassing law but guilty of trespassing the covenant of God and his reign in truth and justice which is beyond all justice. So God is not mocked in that respect. It is not forbid to swear in truth, justice and judgment; to the honour of God, or our own or neighbour's just defence: but only to swear rashly, or profanely, in common discourse, and without necessity. 35 Nor by the earth, for it is his footstool: nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king: 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.../
