mathew chapter 5 vs 33 to 37 . This is about swearing an oath. We all are decieved by the many ceremonies and rituals to modern times. The oaths to office which we are ruled by. Testifying in court. These are spoke of in this passage. Also it is a scripture about swearing by youre head. It states that you cant make one hair black or white. So its not just about swearing To God or by the earths thrones because they are Gods footstools. So Hitler was a total contradiction to most scripture. Also all they who swear by their knowledge of scripture who do not have faith. The head of state and its offices are Gods footstool all activities here on earth even our own man made covenants with the church as an institute is Gods footstool. Even the cubscout oath creating a fellowship swearing by God that what you will perform will be just and honorable. In reality trying to make a throne here on earth to be divine wether democracy or monarchy is absolutely wrong. God is not mocked the scriptures tell us. Gods divine will is his own. The riches and poors of each nation and the powers that be will all be weighed and judged by the Living God in his time and of his own Ways which are Most High and unreachable by our own Heads understanding and reasoning power. I think even the little oaths groups of friens may have as secrets oaths they swear never break as young people. These kind of oaths. Oaths that gangs would swear ect. It seems this scripture doesnt necessarily condemn the oaths that are about justice and protecting our country but I myself am not real sure about any oaths we need to ask God to guide us and keep us from swearing oaths that would bind us here and be oan offense against his Power and his holy covenant with us.
